IMT (Integrative Mind-body therapy), created by Dr. Asaf Rolef Ben Shahar, is a daring and innovative relational body psychotherapy. While Integrating relational psychotherapy to body-work and breath work, in IMT, the emphasis is on the deep exploration of the relationship between the client and the therapist. IMT aims at facilitating change, while leaning on the intersubjective field and on the magic of human interaction. IMT offers a wide range of possibilities within a safe, creative and holding space. An IMT session can consist of a traditional face to face therapy meeting, while also offering touch, direct bodywork, and work on breath or on dreams. The therapist is attuned to the nonverbal clues emanating from the body of the client and uses them as an integral part of the encounter.
Beyond all, IMT is for me a home for integrating my knowledge and life experience.
